Our Specialty Veterinary Services

Internal Veterinary Medicine

Our facilities and teams are equipped to diagnose, prevent, and treat a broad range of complex and ongoing health conditions, including Cushing’s disease, liver disease, endocrine disorders, and pancreatitis.

Veterinary Internal Medicine Consultations

We provide in-depth internal medicine consultations to help you understand, treat, and manage your pet’s ongoing condition.

Comprehensive Cat & Dog Exams

Pets rely on us to develop an understanding of their health and medical history. With comprehensive exams, we can obtain the information we need to proceed with a treatment plan that meets their needs.

Pet Diagnostic Lab Work

Diagnostics is often an essential step in examining your pet and assessing their condition. Our tools also help to reveal subtle, underlying health issues. We utilize the most advanced radiography, ultrasound, and laboratory equipment to care for our patients.

CT Imaging for Pets

Our board-certified specialists use CT scan to detect and diagnose internal issues that are not clear with standard X-ray or ultrasound. This incredible technology allows our team to go the extra mile in delivering excellent care for your pet.

Cat & Dog Ultrasound

Our ultrasound equipment allows us to diagnose conditions related to the abdominal organs and determine the size, shape, and texture of the organs.

Cat & Dog Chemotherapy

We are happy to offer chemotherapy as a potential treatment option for our cancer patients. This treatment can be administered orally or via injection.

Available at Columbia & Annapolis location.

Veterinary Oncology Consultations

One of the most important services we provide is the veterinary oncology consultation, where we work closely with you and your primary care veterinarian to formulate the most successful cancer treatment plan for your pet.

Available at Columbia & Annapolis location.

Cat & Dog Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a technique that allows us to visually examine the nose, throat, esophagus, urinary bladder, and other areas to check for issues and potentially make a diagnosis.

Endoscopy Guided Biopsy for Pets

Endoscopy-guided biopsies offer a less-invasive alternative to surgery and allow us to safely remove tissue samples for testing and review. Performed with anesthesia, these procedures require very little downtime afterward.

Endoscopy Guided Aspirates for Pets

We can also use our endoscope to perform an endoscopy-guided aspirate, in which a hollow needle is guided through the scope and used to extract a cell sample.

Ultrasound Guided Aspirates for Pets

Our specialists can perform fine needle aspirates with better clarity and precision using ultrasound. The sound waves produced by the ultrasound probe generate an image to guide our team.

Cat & Dog Bone Marrow Aspirates

A bone marrow aspirate is a procedure in which we use a fine, hollow needle to extract a bone marrow sample for examination.

Pet Hospitalization

Our hospital is equipped to provide careful monitoring and hospitalization of patients during their treatment or following a procedure.

Palliative Treatment for Pets

We strive to make terminally ill pets as comfortable as possible at the end of their life with personalized palliative care.

Cat & Dog Blood Transfusions

Our hospital carries blood products to provide life-saving blood transfusions when needed.

Feeding Tube Placement for Pets

We can provide our patients with nutritional therapies via the selection and placement of feeding tubes.

Chronic Illness Management for Pets

Our board-certified specialists are able to offer comprehensive, individualized illness management plans for their patients.

Cat & Dog Diabetes Management

Diabetes is one of many conditions our specialist team can help manage, thanks to our many diagnostic and treatment capabilities for chronic diseases.
