Payment Information

Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology accepts cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, pet insurance, and CareCredit® (credit-based veterinary financing option). To apply for approval with CareCredit®, go to www.carecredit.com, give us a call, or stop in to any of our three locations. Full payment for services is required at the time of discharge of the patient for each visit. We require a deposit when your pet is admitted. If your pet’s care is ongoing, we may require additional deposits.

Six-Month Payment Plan

Care Credit offers a six-month plan (based on credit approval) with no minimum fee that has no interest. This plan must be paid in full before the passing of six months to benefit from the interest-free rate.  Other longer term plans may be available for higher fees, but they have immediate interest rates applied. Please check with us if you have heard of different options, as they may or may not apply to Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology (we are a separate practice under the umbrella of Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC).

Pet Insurance Policy

Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology accepts pet insurance for all services provided at all of our locations. We will fill out and sign any pet health insurance forms that you may have for your pet’s care, as is required of us by your insurance provider. You will pay us for services provided at the time. Then, the insurance company will directly reimburse you, the client.

Billing & Invoices

Our billing and invoices are solely for Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology, LLC services. The financial policies of AVIM&O are distinct and separate from all policies of other practices under the umbrella of CVRC. AVIM&O does not invoice, bill or collect fees from other practices affiliated with CVRC.
